Michelle Soriano

Michelle Soriano is a global healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience driving strategic growth across vaccines, established products, and innovative specialty care.

 

Before joining Chiesi, she led strategy and operations for Dupixent® and Sanofi’s Immunology Franchise, delivering strong business performance across more than 50 countries. She also brings deep expertise from top-tier management consulting at McKinsey & Company and IQVIA, where she advised pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on strategy, market expansion, and operational excellence.

 

As Executive Vice President at Chiesi Group, Michelle leads the global Respiratory Strategy, overseeing end-to-end portfolio management, pipeline development, and resource allocation while driving full P&L accountability. Her leadership is rooted in a patient-centric approach, integrating innovation and sustainability to advance respiratory care.

 

Beyond her corporate role, Michelle is committed to mentorship and STEM advocacy. She serves on the Harvard Graduate School Alumni Association Council, engaging with the alumni community to support professional development and networking initiatives. 

 

Michelle holds a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Immunology from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical research from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
