1. Science Clubs engages over 100 mentor-scientists in science and engineering to guide K-7th grade girls in weekly hour-long sessions that focus on hands-on learning. We provide the curriculum and training, you provide the excitement. Working professionals may form a group with a rotating schedule to provide continuity. Commitment: ~3.5 hours/week for ~10 weeks. Fall, Spring or Summer. This includes preparation, leading clubs and debriefing.

2. Mentor our middle or high school Challenge Teams! Depending on your interests, this can range from building rockets to public health to product design to video production to website design. We'll help you develop the curriculum. Commitment: ~3 hours every other Saturday or weeknight.

3. Co-lead our Supper Sisters Mentoring Group! Mentor High School Students and explore the issues of health, hunger and where food comes from! This program will take place Thursday evenings from 6-8pm in Cambridge.

4. Check out our one-time commitments if you can't make a long-term commitment but still want to share how exciting science and engineering can be.

5. Summer Science Week at Lasell College July 17th- 20th. Two volunteer tracks of a science teacher 8:30am-12:30pm and/or a field trip chaperone 12:30pm - 5:30pm. Fill out the application here.

After School and Saturday Programs

Inspire girls in grades K-7 for an hour a week for 8-10 weeks with the magic of science while mentoring adolescent (8th through 12th grade girls) with whom you will work closely. We provide training, supplies, support, and a flexible, hands-on science curriculum. School year clubs run from late September/October to early December and February/March to May.
